Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

And yet it is the unquestioned best conference in college football this upcoming season. Those defenses must be really, really good.
I can cherry-pick stats and timeframes the other way, too...

In the last 14 years, KState has won 10+ games only twice, and has finished with a losing record 5 times.

In the last 14 years, Iowa has won 10+ games three times, and has finished with a losing record only 2 times.

Kansas State was a great program in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, but Iowa has been better over the last decade and a half.
JFC you’re an idiot.
Good luck in your fast food cashier career.

Its comical how stupid Benji is.

The dude says he goes to a prestigious U, but is so dumb that he uses years that Snyder didn't even coach to compare Ferentz to Snyder.

And once again, uses a stupid timeframe. Who uses 14 years? It's like saying over the last 17 years, or 8 years. People talk 10 ,20 type time frames.

Southern New Hampshire isn’t prestigious, I’ll tell ya that.

He doesn't even live in Iowa so I'm guessing he goes to some online college and lives at home in Illinois

This quote on Alaric is pretty concerning. I hope he gets some help

“We have 110 guys in camp. And if you take 110 college-aged kids, we have a few that are dealing with some issues right now,” Doyle said.
Grade issues, home sickness, girl trouble. The kid messed up in the spring, had to jump through hoops. Satisfied those requirements more degrees his one game. I don't know what he did, you don't know either.

He messed up in the Spring but was suspended for the bowl game too? Interesting

14 years when Snyder has only been back 10 years is creative

So is the 20 year timeframe, which of course begins where KState was at its peak under an established head coach, and Iowa had just hired a new head coach and was the worst it had been in decades. That’s kind of the whole point.

It’s fine if you think KState is a better program than Iowa. You’re wrong, and you can only defend your position by using selective timeframes and ignoring the history of each program outside those timeframes. But hey, trolls are going to troll, and I would expect nothing less from the biggest troll on the internet.

You think Iowa is a better program than Kansas State under Snyder? You're joking right?

Only late 90s and early 2000s even though Snyder has more wins than Kirk does in the 2010s? LOL

Look, you can be an Iowa fan but damn you’re an idiot if you think Kirk accomplishes more than Coach Snyder.

This is another perfect example of CyFan posters moving the goalposts (whether intentionally or unintentionally) and not being able to offer a response that is actually germane to the discussion.

I never said Iowa was a great program. KState having marginally more success than Iowa since 2010 does not make them a great program, either.

Furthermore, nowhere did I ever say that KF has accomplished, or does accomplish, more than Snyder. I wouldn’t dispute that Snyder has accomplished more; that’s not even up for debate. But again, this has absolutely nothing to do with my post, because my post was about comparing the two schools’ football programs, not the accomplishments of its head coaches.

TLDR: your response has literally nothing to do with my post and you should do a better job of using your reading comprehension skills in the future.

Good God you’re an idiot.

No one is saying Kansas State is a better program historically than Iowa. Kansas State under Snyder is much better than Iowa under KF. That's all that's been said

Yes, Kansas State has been better under Snyder than Iowa has under KF, but it is based almost entirely on KState’s success in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Again, Iowa has been the better program the last 15 years.

Moving the goalposts again. Nice.
We get it Ben, you like to cherry pick and move the goal posts. College football started in 1981 and success is determined from achievements from that point on, sans the years in which Iowa didn’t have a good record. Those don’t count, and to do so would be arbitrary.

You’re going to need to get better at logical arguments to get past kirkwood.
