If Montgomery has the same game as Barkley and the outcome still relies on Kempt repeating what McSorely did, I feel pretty good about the Hawks winning the game.
Kempt's really good. Statistically one of the best returning QB's in the country

But he is no McSorely and has never won a game on a last minute drive.
If Iowa State holds Iowa to 19 points there will be a lot of grills fired back up by the start of the 4th qtr.
Yes he has and Kempt was closer to matching McSorely's QBR than Stanley was to matching Kempts. Wowser

Montgomery going to pull a Barkley 2.0 performance?
This is what was originally said until you went on a tangent:
What game did iSu come from behind and win in the last minute with Kempt?
No tangent at all. Cytwins said Montgomery would pull a Barkley 2.0 to which I find odd in that it was the PSU QB who led and had the game winning TD.
You said he's never won a game before on a last minute drive which he has. You never said anything about coming from behind to win a game

Kempt was thrust into the spotlight after Iowa State announced on Friday night that starter Jacob Park was taking a leave of absence due to "personal health issues." Kempt, who had thrown just two passes as a Cyclone after starting his college career at Oregon State and transferring to Hutchinson Community College, put up 343 yards and three touchdowns through the air, including the game-winning 25-yard strike to Allen Lazard
Before those late-game heroics, Kempt helped Iowa State keep up by flipping the ball out into the flats and allowing the Cyclones’ playmakers to do the work. Dutiful downfield blocking by Iowa State receivers sprung long touchdown catch-and-runs by Marchie Murdock and Trever Ryan; Ryan’s 57-yard score gave the Cyclones their first lead of the game early in the fourth quarter. That blocking also led to a frustration-fueled unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Sooners linebacker Kenneth Murray that gave Iowa State a free 15 yards during its game-winning drive, capped off by Lazard’s leaping touchdown catch over the outstretched arm of a Sooners cornerback.

First off, he asked. Secondly, you find it odd that a great running back had a monster game and that he hopes our running back has a similar game? If Montgomery has a similar game, which I'm not predicting, it won't be a one score game.
So Kempt hasn’t done what McSorely did in the Iowa game. Glad we agree.

Why not it was a one score game for PSU.
Is there a rule that the game would have to play out the same? The game would play out differently in my opinion.
