Actually not really.

The thought that anybody that is going to play against Iowa would be pleased that Fant is returning is absurd. Just like opposing defenses cant be happy Butler will be back for ISU. They both had drops last year in OT that cost their teams.

The fact that you actually went along with @cycloner29 on this thought is not a good look for you.

Is it an odd thing for a coach to want his best player to come back for his senior year?
I would say most coaches would push their players to enter the NFL draft if they were a first/second rounder. For every Scherff, there's an Ott.

No answer to my question?

Drops only cost your team if they happen on what turns out to be the last play of the game?

There's two kinds of drops

1. A drop that hurts your team during any point of the game

or

2. A drop that literally ends the game and costs your team the game

I dont recall Ott ever getting feedback he would have been a high draft pick after his junior season.

KF is really throwing out some praise for Cole Banwart. He mentioned him during bowl prep last year and it sounds like he has had a great summer.

KF also said today at Media Day that he thinks the OL can be good, likes the RB's and really likes Stanley and the progress he has made.

Does he ever say his OL is going to not be good?
