Iowa Football Recruiting

For Iowa it isn’t about who they don’t get, it is about who they do get and then turning them into high quality college players who end up being NFL level talent.
So you're essentially saying, no matter what, Iowa doesn't miss on recruits in your eyes? Because they are so good at developing them? Sure, Iowa can develop players really well in certain position groups, nobody denies that. The argument is not that. It is that you claim you don't want these players or don't care you didn't get them.

If Iowa is so good at developing players, wouldn't it be better if they got the best recruits they were in on, and developed them like the 2-3 star guys you keep talking about?

Iowa offers more than one player at all position groups outside of kicker and punter. They offer the kids they feel they can develop to become a quality college players and often turn 2-3 star players into NFL quality talent. So once they have evaluate kids they work their list. Now it is true that Iowa has some position groups with more representation than others but the fact remains Iowa has still put 2-3 star players in the NFL regardless of position.

Iowa hasn’t, and I hope they never do, recruit based on stars but who fits and will fit in the Iowa system. Missing on a 2-3 star only to get another 2-3 star seems like an odd thing for iSu fans to celebrate.

Why would you consider it a “yikes”?

KF already has a commitment from a higher ranked kid, not that rankings are how Iowa recruits but trying to understand your comment.

Letting a top in state target go to a Big Ten West program is the definition of yikes

Iowa has another 3 star at the position and recruiting others. If this was such a cant miss prospect why didnt CMC offer?

You mean CMC doesn’t really want the kids he makes offers to? How are we to know who they really want and who they don’t? Would be a lot easier to follow along if knew up front.
Oh, playing this game are we?

ISU has been done recruiting the DL since 5-28-18, but don't let that change your troll.
