1971 ISU finished unranked in the AP poll but 17th in the Coaches Poll so it's either 2 or 3 depending if you credit the Coaches Poll. But yeah you were wrong when you said ISU had never finished ranked but you're pretty much always wrong so business as usual

A lot of schools dont trot out different uniforms every few years. I dont consider wearing alt uniforms once a year or once every couple uniforms changing their uniforms.

Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Iowa, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, FSU, Florida, UCLA, Tennessee are just a few I thought of off the top of my head that dont change their uniforms frequently.
