Iowa Football Recruiting

Says the fan of a school who is treating a coach with a winning percentage of 44% at his current school as the savior of one of the worst P5 programs in history.

Says the fan of a school that built a statue to honor a basketball coach that won 40% of his conference games while at ISU.
CMC has shown significant improvement. There is actual hope of being better in the future. Our recruiting is incredible, and we can see a lot of success in the future. We play in one of the best conferences in the country. You guys pay a coach a ridiculous about of money for a range of 6-6 to 8-4 most years in a below average division of a below average conference. And the article is proof that everyone knows the truth except Iowa fans who have their head so far up his butt they don't know how pathetic it really is.

Really have a lot of respect for Farrell. He is one that really does his homework.

Well this is awkward...

Rivals.com National Recruiting Director Mike Farrell’s thought-provoking Three-Point Stance is here with the five most overrated coaches in the Power Five

3. Kirk Ferentz, Iowa Ferentz makes a ton of money and is one of the more overrated and overvalued coaches out there. He’s had one 10-win season since 2009, and his 86-68 conference record isn’t that great for a guy who has been employed for so long at the same school. Iowa is usually good for seven or eight wins most years, yet he’s still talked about as one of the top coaches in college football.

You should never have made a 5% comment if you have no intention of keeping it.

How is not finishing in the Top 50 nationally in recruiting considered "incredible"?

For 2019 we are top 25; 5 spots ahead of Iowa for the record.
Iowa State has never finished with a Top50 recruiting class in the 247Sports era dating back to 2009. This break-through season should see the Cyclones more than snap that string in this cycle. Put together another strong showing on the field in 2018 and it will be interesting to see where this things continues to go on the trail.

Good thing they think we aren't finishing in the top50 this year.
