You didn't answer my question.

I went to an event yesterday and it included a tour of the locker rooms. There is no TOE countdown, just a countdown until the next game which is SDSU. I'm sure the week of the rivalry there will be a countdown for TOE but there is a continuous countdown clock until the next game.
For the umpteenth time...I will take a respected journalists word over yours, anonymous message board poster.

Well, it sounds like whoever is recruiting and coaching WRs needs canned.
Are you expecting much different this year?
Was Davis fired? I thought he retired? They were. Iowa took scholarships from other positions to give to WRs while Greg Davis and Bobby Kennedy were here, and none of them planned out. That’s one of the major reasons why they were both fired.
Aside from Easley and Vandeberg (who was a shell of his former self last year due to injury), Iowa’s next best receivers last year were both true freshmen. I think it is fair to expect improvement out of both of them, as they both came in as good athletes but very raw. It sounds like they have made strides during the offseason and have looked impressive, but who knows. I am cautiously optimistic. Don’t think it can get any worse than last year (barring injury).

Believe it or not I agree with this assessment.Aside from Easley and Vandeberg (who was a shell of his former self last year due to injury), Iowa’s next best receivers last year were both true freshmen. I think it is very fair for fans to expect promising young players to look improved after an off season of training. They were.
