I didn’t have any non-public information on Carton and never claimed to. It was just a guess based on recent statements from his mother.
Bain is mostly worthless with recruiting information.
I trust Jerry Meyer over you for obvious reasons. I know from non public info ISU feels really good at where they are at with Xavier

That’s why I was surprised with the inclusion of Ohio State. Haven’t heard much about Carton and OSU lately...seems they are clearly behind Michigan and IU.
Anyone that knew anything about this recruitment knew the top 3 were Michigan, Indiana and Ohio State by a mile. The only reason Indiana jumped up is because he visited there. Once he takes his OV to Ohio State they'll get a "bump" too
He does an okay job with the HS and Drake beat but yeah, his ISU recruiting mailbags are worthless. Im fairly confident he just goes to the 247 site to see who ISU has offered and then cross references that with a twitter search and that’s his “inside info”
He also seems to put a lot of emphasis on location compared to ISU. It feels like he has some guys higher on the list of "priorities" for no other reason than they are in Minnesota Iowa or Illinois, compared to say Luke Anderson or someone (just using a name)
OSU was in on him first and after being around OSU this summer I can see why they do what they in college athletics. Makes ISU and Iowa look like Drake.
