Iowa -7 vs ISU

I didn’t say he is definitively the best, or unquestionably the best. I said he is the best. Meaning I think he is the best. It just so happens that a lot of other people do, too. I don’t know how you could possibly be upset with that.
Another display of a Hawkeye’s mastery of the English language...

The word “best” is singular.

Don’t act so surprised when get called out on a hostile website for your drivel.

Yes, please go on about how other peoples’ posts are nothing but drivel. Your lack of self awareness is astounding.

This is a fan website, 95% of it is drivel. Here is the difference with many of your posts: this is a Cyclone website. Your types are accepted here but not exactly welcomed.

Butler didn’t lose Iowa State the Iowa game, Brian Peavy did by getting torched over and over by a 160 pound true freshman.

Lanning's inexperience at linebacker cost |SU that game. He's the one who got torched over and over. He improved greatly every game in the real season though and wasn't half bad. ;).

Anyone in the country can say that about the starting TE on their favorite team.... means nothing.

I think Chase Allen is the best TE in the country. There. Doesn't make it so does it.

Except if you sincerely thought that, it would be an objectively stupid opinion. Thinking Fant is the best TE in the country is not objectively stupid; many people agree that he is.

This is unbelievable.

"An Iowa State tight end hasn’t caught a touchdown pass since E.J. Bibbs’ 13-yarder from Sam Richardson on Nov. 22, 2014. The drought is 39 games, heading into the Sept. 1 opener at home against South Dakota State."
Yeah, the TE position was basically starting from square 1 when Campbell arrived.

There were quite a few misses in the CPR era at TE (Brun & Bibbs were solid JUCO TE's though).

Great article? LOL

You like reading a grown man refer to a college athletes "longish hair flowing in humid breeze" and hypothetical Jack's Pizza endorsements?

Yep

Chase Allen has a worrisome past that can’t be repeated for a guy with a world of potential. He’s the only freshman to crack the coaches’ two All-Conference teams in 2017. He’s the league’s top returning tight end.

“It’s been a rollercoaster,” Allen said. “I got down to 212. It’s been an uphill battle ever since.”

Strength coach Rudy Wade became his best friend. Together, they increased Allen’s weight to 230 for last season. He’s between 245-250 now.

Best returning TE in the Big 12 and 3rd best TE in the state, probably.

This is unbelievable 5%.

Another 5%er
