Iowa Football Recruiting

Really dumb move on the Iowa staff’s part IMO. I have always said I prefer Goodson to Brock, but Iowa is not in a position to be turning away 4* recruits that want to come to Iowa.

What happens if Goodson gets a late offer from Georgia and flips? Iowa is left with nothing.

There are Hawkeye fans out there that aren't delusional 100% of the time? Wow I'm impressed Benji I didn't see this coming

Based on what? I didn't threaten you. I can be 4'10" and 110 lb and still think you are stupid. Everyone on here thinks you are and you are too dumb to realize it. Very sad.

Based on using that type of slur as an insult towards someone.

So, leaving aside the argument about who is better et al, doesn’t this back up what yeahbuddy and others have said about Iowa recruiting? They had multiple offers out but filled up. Brock no longer had an offer and pulled it.

Well A) if that's true they took a JUCO RB nobody wanted over a 4 star RB so lol and B) that was proven wrong by Larry Tracy who had supposedly had a committable offer and nobody took that spot

Probably the leader at this point. Recommits are rare but we have a real chance here. The family loves Iowa and his older cousin is part of Iowa's 2018 class.

Really respect the maturity Larry has shown to this point. He understood KF's policy and decommitted so he could look around a bit and not lose his offer.

Looks like a stud TE with offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida State, etc. wants to take an official visit to “Tight End U” (aka the University of Iowa). Having the best TE in the country could end up paying dividends.

That Marc Givler must not be too impressed with him if he called him Erick All Talk.

QB coach: Ken O'Keefe
Depth chart: Nathan Stanley (Jr.), Peyton Mansell (rFr.), Spencer Petras (Fr.)

I'm not sure enough people realize how good Stanley could be. Don't be surprised if he is considered an upper-tier quarterback in college football by the end of the 2018 season. There's a battle for the backup job between Mansell and Petras and Iowa feels very comfortable with what it has in those two youngsters.

Well, I guess that settles that.
