Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

Standing Vert isn't necessarily a fair factor in your jumping ability. THT does all of his best jumping off of one foot. That does not bode well for a high standing vert.

I had a 35.5 inch max vert in HS, and I would guess my standing wasn't much more than 20 haha. And I like to think I am athletic. 31 standing vert is just outrageous, however.

This was my next point as well. It's not often in basketball you find yourself jumping from a standstill.

It’s not necessarily a perfect indicator of leaping ability, but it is a pretty good indicator of strength and explosiveness.

Again, I’m not saying THT is a bad athlete- but he is not some elite level athlete like many ISU fans are making him out to be. He is very similar athletically to Wieskamp, who posters here have criticized as not being very athletic.

I don't agree that Wieskamp is not very athletic. I do think his body needs some work for the B1G level, however.

I don't think anyone here is saying THT is an Elite Level Athlete, but there is no way you can doubt his athletic ability and how he uses it on the floor. He uses his "similar athletic ability to Weiskamp" to it's full potential, which is why he is perceived as more athletic.

Curious, what is your Max Vert?

I've seen plenty of comments about JW needing more muscle mass, but I don't recall any (many) of him being nonathletic...

His standing vertical is 25 inches. So if you are 6 inches higher, that puts you at 31 inches, which is higher than 34 NBA combine participants. So basically, you're lying.

32, actually. But that’s not the point; the point is that a 25 inch standing vertical is really bad.

Hawk trolls on drugs today here. Hmm.... math 25" + 6" = 31". The point is you are really bad at math. Probably another one of those "Hawk fan, but didn't go to school there." Beginning to think yeahbuddy and Benji are brothers. We already know they are idiot trolls. Keep it up Benji!! You really made yourself look dumb on that post.
