Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

So either Fran isn't even trying or Kakert is clueless. I'm going with option C and saying both

Yeah, the two things bolded and underlined do not fit Fran's teams (unless you consider a possible NIT c'ship as your highest team goal). The fact that he stated these two things makes me confused as to why he would have ever put the Hoks in his top 6. The only thing I can figure is that it was only a courtesy to include them - I think another poster mentioned that he has a relative (G'pa?) that is an alumnus.

That statement is kind of like you thinking Cook was going pro after his sophomore season for the past year or so.
I guarantee you DJ Carton does not play for Iowa. That's not optimistic that's common sense

All day this. There is no reason and no part of a body of work that Franny could sell over those other schools especially Michigan.
Twins was wrong, but let's not pretend Cook didn't want to get the hell out of Iowa City. He just didn't have many options. On the other hand Carton has many options. Most of them are better than Iowa.
