Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

I agree he will have one P5 offer and it'll be Iowa and he'll commit on the spot. Sounds like he really struggled this weekend though so who knows

In one game against Minnesota D1, which has 3 top guys on their team. 1 who is an Iowa commit and the other is a top 10 guy while the other is somewhere around 150. Then they also has another 4 star guy that Iowa is recruiting. Again, Facts, getting ignored

Nothing I said was untrue. Luckily if he goes to Iowa he won't have to play against top talent.

Absolutely there is a chance they miss the tourney

I could have sworn you said ISU would be top 7 and in the tournament next year. To me that seems to be saying "I think they are a lock for the tournament" Unless you think they are a bubble type team. because if you think they can miss that is what they are.

Why would you say that?

It was a joke about how bad the Big Ten was this last year and how bad it will probably be this upcoming year too. There's a reason kids get offers based on AAU performances and not HS performances. Coaches want to see how you do against talent

I predicted ISU will finish between 4th-7th in the Big 12 and make the tourney. I also predicted ISU would make the NIT this last season. Making a prediction isn't saying anything is a lock

Gee, kids get hurt, do dumb things. Family tragedies, like DJs, happen. Coaches have health scares/problems. There is never a lock. Except for the lock that low self esteemed trolls from Iowa will keep making new usernames and come on here begging for their approval and recognition of their team.

In the past 5 years the big 10 has sent 4 teams to the final 4

In the past 5 years the big 12 has sent 2 teams to the final 4

In the past 10 years the big 10 has sent 8 teams to the final 4

In the past 10 years the big 12 has sent 4 teams to the final 4

Big Ten teams include Wisconsin, Michigan, MSU, OSU

Big 12...... Oklahoma for 1 year and then the other 3... you guessed it! Kansas.
I guess I didn't realize that the only criterion used to measure conference strength was Final Four appearances.

You guys are sensitive today. I simply said ISU fans think finishing in the top 4-7 will be a tournament lock. I have had multiple people say ISU should finish there. So I said ISU fans think ISU is a lock for the tournament next year.

I also have pointed out that Locure has not been bad this AAU season and is getting looks from Kansas State and Iowa, also Minnesota has been watching his games. Now that Carton has released a top 6, Expect more teams in the midwest to evaluate Locure and Terry. It is a small crop of PGs this year for the 2019 cycle.

Follow the twitter handle of the beyond ball AAU to get more updates if you do not believe me.

BTW, sorry to the ISU fans that have been objective and have had good dialogue. I am just tired of facts being ignored is all.

Using that logic, the big ten blew chunks in football this year because they had nobody in the playoffs. Also proves the big XII over the last generation has been stronger due to More national titles. These trolls want it both ways when you point these things out

You should show us a picture of him shooting a jumper. His form looks like a girl trying to shoot a medicine ball

can you show me something else that is more relevant than the final 4 appearances then?

I think that can be part of the conversation but that is not the whole conversation. I think strength of the teams top to bottom is another part to look at. Head to head matchups may be another.

I wouldn't dog on your future PG if I were you unless you plan to have a new username by the time he commits

Just repeating what I read over the weekend. Just because he may end up at Iowa doesnt mean I wont be objective. You should try it with ISU related items once in a while.
