Sound like Brian has no problem throwing out a bunch of offers.
Yup, they are all committable until the first QB gets on board. At that point, the rest are no longer valid.
Not sure why that’s so hard for you.
To be honest...and I'm sure this has happened for you guys.
We've had guys commit while we've still been in play for somebody with a better rating/pedigree.
I think the message is...."you better commit or somebody is going to take your spot". Every program does this....
That's the thing about recruiting...how long to wait for the "stud" and risk being left with fallbacks or do take the commitment of somebody that's still very good but not quite the stud you were hoping for...

Looks contradictory to me. If 1 QB signs, the others get their offers pulled, appears to be what you guys are saying here.

It just comes off as an empty policy. Yeah, sure, all ToE offers are "commitable" and they "intend to sign you"... until they aren't anymore and they don't.
There's nothing special about that at all, that's exactly the same as what everyone else does. Nothing more than lip service/posturing.
Because your coach is concerned with how other teams recruit and has said publicly that his philosophy is that if you get an offer, and want to be at Iowa, you will be.
What it says is the spot is yours unless someone else we offered takes it before you do. Seriously, how can it be any other way? If we offered and didn't take it with the spot available then you'd have a point.
Did you read Brian’s quote? He is so concerned about college recruiting that he talks about ISU, MN, etc and says if you get an offer from Iowa, and you want to be there, you will be.
Is he lying or are you?
