Iowa Football Recruiting

I think it's not an opinion to say he's one of the worst, if not the worst WR recruiter/coach at the P5 level. I don't think you could find a worse WR corps than what Iowa has had in Kirk's tenure at another school

Im not going to take the time to look.

There have been I think 2 or 3 WRs drafted under Kirk and I think a couple of WRs are currently signed with teams (Riley McCarron and Tevaun Smith). They have struggled recently though, especially under Davis/Kennedy.

Kirk recruited 1 WR that has ever been drafted and that's McNutt who was a 6th rounder. That's insane for the longest tenured coach in college football

I'm not going to say that they have had bad WR, but I think they are under utilized without question in that offense.

“Why do Iowa’s receivers always suck”

He did just pick up a South Dakota State offer though so he’s got that going for him which is nice.

So, let me get this straight: Iowa takes a commitment from this kid, but doesn't look twice at Darien Porter that's just a few miles down the road? 247 has Porter ranked as an 88, which nearing 4* territory. And then there's the fact that at 6'4", Porter just ran a 46.6 400 at the Drake Relays.

Khalil Hill and Kevin Kasper were drafted early in the KF era. They were not recruited by KF but played half or more of their careers under KF.
