This is correct, he lost his offer when McCloud committed but did have a UNI offer at one point.
Word is that Jake wasn't exactly enthralled with having to put up with Gordy for another 4 or 5 years.

I can tolerate a certain level of Hawkeye and Jayhawk troll assuming they have some actual arguments, even if bad ones, and basic knowledge of their roster, our roster, and the context of the sport around them in the discussion, but then there are just mean people who give our fan base and forum a bad name. Ones who never seem to know anything, too.

On and to answer your question I make the 5 hour round trip to Iowa City for 5-6 football games per year and usually a couple basketball games.
I was thinking the "leak" that Cook had 6 workouts lined up may be a precursor to the official announcement. Followed by the Iowa fans talking themselves into they are better team with Cook out of their rotation.
