Cutie!

I decided to stay out of the crib discussion. You have money and that is the way you want to spend it, fine. But admitting that is how much you are spending looks a little silly. When our oldest was due hubby was inbetween jobs but we "splurged" (like $350 maybe?) on an Italian crib from a baby store in the cities. Don't ask me why Italian was better, but it was a nice crib. Until they recalled all cribs with drop sides (loved that feature!) but we used the fix they gave us and used that crib for at least 8-10yrs total. The dresser we bought cheap, and that is still being used 15 years later. The next kid we bought a dresser at KMart and again, still in use 12 years later.
The drop-down crib side was one of the best inventions ever once you figured out how to make it work with the side of your lower leg.

Also, the the Italian crib was better because Bellini is a way cooler thing to say than Graco.

So hubby called the landscape company yesterday before he left for the week to have them deliver mulch. They were having issues finding our name in their system even though they did our entire backyard and have done mulch delivery before. Hopefully the gal got everything correct, hubby looked on an old invoice and our last name was spelled wrong.

Was it spelled Birdie?

The newsletter from our school district recently did a story on one of my daughter's friends that got a perfect ACT score. During the interview, she said that she liked to do normal teenage things stating, "I like to watch Netflix and right now I'm reading War and Peace:confused:".

We like to just, ya know, hang out discussing chaos theory and stuff.

I've kind of wanted to read that, but never had the time. Maybe I'll read it after graduation.

The quote that almost had me extending bedtime last night to play, 'I'm an empress and I'm going to ride my dragon!" I was really curious to see where she was going with that, but the dragon included jumping on her bed. (Which was a reasonably priced BabiesRUs convertible.) Unfortunately, she is now jumping hard enough the bed is starting to have issues.

Sorry I found this funny despite the fact that you told us all that it is definitively not funny. I'll try not to snicker - or at least turn my head so Z can't see me.
