My Pledge—No More Trolling

Another lock for the Heisman....both will probably be invited to New York. Simply amazing!!!

I'd actually consider Montgomery just as a full on football player. That's A LOT to do on your own last season.

ISU would have to go undefeated and win by like 3 TD's a game as he rushed for 2,500 yards though.

Actually Stanley threw a TD about every 15 pass attempts and Kempt threw one about every 16 pass attempts. And again, Kempt had a much better WR crew to throw to and played a weaker schedule.
Kempt didn’t get to play the non-cons like Stanley did.
And I think the games he won (OU, TCU, Memphis) are all better than Stanley’s top wins (OSU, Minny, BC). To be honest Iowa beating ISU is probably their 2nd best win of the year and I don’t think that’s debatable.

I know there has been some talk on Twitter he's a dark horse candidate but I don't think he is. Montgomery though, wow he's by far the best player in the state

I don’t know, I would say the future 1st round draft pick and best TE in college football is probably the best player in the state. Montgomery is up there, though.

Benji is saying the eye test is more important and figures are irrelevant.

You’re not very good at this. I just pointed out that QBR is pretty widely considered to be a poor rating system. I had no issue with others who posted QB Efficiency Rating, which also scored Kempt higher. I think a combination of the eye test and statistics are the way to go; I understand that runs counter to the CyFan hive mind, which thinks statistics are the only thing that matters.

Besides, Iowa having a better strength of schedule has little to do with Stanley being a better QB than Kempt.
