My Pledge—No More Trolling

I don’t think Jackson won it this year, but still- 3 times in the last 5-6 years Iowa has had a lightly recruited player win the award for best DB in the Big Ten, and Iowa has been top 25 nationally in passing efficiency defense each of the last five years. Phil is one of the best in the biz, there’s just no way around it.
My bad...Jackson was a finalist. Anyway, things get silly around here.

Two Jim Thorpe award winners in the last 3 years would say he's pretty damned good. To say otherwise is just plain silly.

(Edit: Jackson was a finalist, didn't win. Point still stands)

I don't think anyone said he sucks. He's just not the best or one of the best in the country at what he does. He's never even been a finalist for position coach of the year that I can see

Ferentz has never had to cover up his crap with an award so he probably doesn’t get nominated.

I know Heacock was a finalist for the Broyles Award this year. I don't think Parker has anything in his career but I could be wrong

I made the pledge to stopped trolling and have followed through, now if only JP could do the same.

Isnt it embarrassing to have an AD that is obsessed with an instate school that is not in the same conference?

Well, Ed Cunningham threw his fit only about 7 months ago....much more recent.
You sound obsessed with Ed. Don't remember anything about what anyone else said about the bowl game but know where and when Ed has criticized Iowa.

You are more concerned about covering what you are typing on a rivals forum vs the safety of your own team's players.

Love all the faux outrage from Clone fans. First it was rhabdo, then it was Beathard and finally it was the Jane Meyer trial. If those all happened at KSU, not a peep would have been said on this board.

Do I pay taxes to the Kansas Attorney General to look at those cases?

Still not as embarrassing as whatever the f*** that re-signing of Fran was. Barta is definitely my favorite of the two, I won't be shy about it.

Iowa AG is a salaried position. He was getting paid the same whether Meyer sued Iowa or not.
It's laughable that you think there was no money spent defending the U of I.
Not one car used, not one hotel, not one meal, not any extra counsel, no overtime, nothing.
