What are you basing that on? For the life of me I can't figure out why so many Iowa kids end up or want to go to Iowa. I know Fran has backed into a lot of recruits because they are legacies or the kids they happen to recruit are hawkeye fans. But looking at it objectively, ISU basketball is the more enticing and exciting place to play basketball. Hilton vs Carver? Come on, ABSOLUTELY no comparison. Playing on ESPN instead of the left of the dial Big 10 Network, getting to play in a conference tournament that is close to the fan base and where thousands of fans travel to it. Playing in a league that is consistently in the top 3 RPI rated leagues (Big 10 can't claim that) and you play round robin in the Big 12, which is normally a deep league. That means most games mean something or are very important. Playing in a 14 team league with unbalanced schedules and some of the games are blah because in some years you play the bottom teams of the league twice, that is 8 games or so against crap teams. Plus in the Big 10 some years you don't get traditional powers at home. At ISU there is always the home game against KU. So with all of the above, Iowa comes up short. Oh well, Hayden Fry did a heck of a job brain washing this state.

You forgot about the conference games that ISU plays on CycloneTV.
