Isn't this Fredrick like 120 pounds? Fran never recruits anyone with a Power 5 conference ready body. It takes them 4 years to get physically ready to play at that level under Fran.
Fredrick may end up being "a steal" and a really good ball player when all is said and done. However, he was originally going to be a "walk-on"/ non-scholarship player coming in. Obviously, with some slight attrition on the Hok roster last fall, he was then offered a scholarship. AND, even if he comes in and has a modest Frosh campaign, you have to account for the Fran-Factor - (i.e. players plateauing early in their careers: Basabe and Uhl come immediately to mind), so I am not sure he will become much better than Ellingson or Ogelsby.
