Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Waiting a year on a redshirt did not hurt Wesley Johnson.

Being good is more valuable than just being young.

Nobody cares how young you are if you are not good.

Johnson has had a mediocre NBA career, but the transfer never hurt his draft stock.

When Wesley transferred it felt, to me, like the beginning of the end for McDermott. If and when Cook leaves it's obvious that Fran follows. You can't overcome losing your best players to transfer.

Honestly, Iowa will have to find their own Creighton (with an AD that is certifiably insane).

50/50 at this point, depends on how some other bubble teams do. Didnt think they would lose to Illinois either. Im going to go dig up hundreds of things youve been wrong about if they dont make it.

50/50? Lunardi has Nebby as the 8th team out and Palm doesn't even have them on the bubble... The B1G is a 4 bid league this year which is pretty sad.

50/50? Seriously?

Dead serious, committee always throws a curveball that these so called experts dont see. Tulsa got in 2016 after going 12-6 in a scrub conference, 20-12 overall, lost to some scrub team in the first round of the conference tournament.

It honestly depends on what these other bubble teams like Louisville, Texas, Syracuse do.

Well then they still have to win to get in. I don't think they have a shot in the play in game either

Their season is done, they are sweating it out at this point hoping other bubble teams choke and there arent any bid stealers. Dayton is definitely their ceiling but I could see them getting in still, the committee has done far crazier things in the past few years.

There are roughly 16 teams on the bubble and 14 of them have a better RPI than Nebraska. It isn't going to happen. Unfortunately for NU, the bubble is the strongest it's been in quite sometime.
