Way less explosive though. When your best attribute as a player is jumping for loose balls going out of bounds it’s probably time to rethink your playing level. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him transfer to a Valley school.
Oh if only they would have set that up and then were contracted to not be able to get out of it once the losses started up. Hok fans are at their best when they punk themselves.
Haha true. Out of all the head scratching things Fran does, rolling out Pemsl at the "3" and watching guards blow by him like he's standing still might be my favorite.

He could drop down to D2 and end up getting less minutes. Of course that applies to half their roster.

Well we are in a complete rebuilding year and are still better than you guys plus we have hope for the future and you guys don't so yeah it's pretty fun if you want to compare the two from our perspective
Just strange is all. Never seen a fanbase so happy at someone else's failures while their own team is in the basement of their own conference.
I don't know why you would find it strange. We literally had to listen the whole off season about how good Iowa was going to be by the local media. Both Register guys picked them 4th in the conference that's how ridiculous it was getting. We knew we were rebuilding and we are still better than you plus your coach is awful and you just extended him. If you don't understand why we think that's funny I don't know what to tell ya
I think the key to it is knowing that while the circumstances to ISU's current situation are only temporary, Iowa and Fran look awfully comfortable in their role at the bottom, have an established pattern of falling apart on several occasions previously, have recently doubled down by extending the coach despite these realities, and doesn't appear to have much help on the way.
It isn't that we are happy so much as marveling in it.
On a scale of 1-10, how much have you enjoyed this ISU basketball season?
Not including Iowa's struggles, just specifically talking about the ISU season.
3 maybe? I thought we would be an NIT team so they are worse than I thought but I got to see 3 top 20 wins at home in person which was fun and the combo of Lard/Wigginton plus following THT this season has kept it from being a 1 or 2
