Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

First ISU game I've watched since the Iowa game...came away from the game really impressed by Lard. He has really improved and gives maximum effort.

On another note...came away impressed with Crean as a color guy...seemed to have done his homework. Had nice things to say about both teams....I like him better than most analysts already.

Agree with both of your points, but I was impressed with Crean as well.

The Big 10 is going through a transition, and this is Minny’s best chance in decades to make a jump.

Wisconsin is finally not winning with their UNI all-star recruits. How much longer will Izzo be at MSU? Likewise with Beilein. What the hell is Maryland going to be? I know older people view IU as a blue blood, but they have not been a top program for my entire life. It appears like OSU will maintain their status as a consistent title contender and Purdue is well positioned, too. I’ll believe Illinois will be one of the Big 10’s top programs when it happens. If Nebraska keeps transfer recruiting well in combination with finding under recruited preps they’ll be an upper-half program.

You didnt really tell us what you do. You pretty much said you were in sales. Congrats?

Agricultural seed production product sales. Small 20 employee company, no more corporate stuff for me. Worked for a larger family owned company in ag retail equipment sales for awhile, but just got tired of the constant micromanaging as the ag economy downturned the last few years. Really appreciate it when people contact you for a position rather me looking for a position.

Since a lot of seed companies do production, in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and South America in the winter months, pretty nice travel gig to these locations during November - March time frames.

Ball is back in your court now. Remember honesty is the best policy. :)

Kind of strange that you share all this information with anonymous strangers on a message board.
