All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Rivals has him listed as a DT and he is currently on the DL at Iowa.

He was recruited as an OL for Iowa, don't be dumb. So 8 players you get 1 hit and a couple maybe upperclassmen starters on an OL that won't be good? Yikes!

2 out of the 7 will be multi year starters and at least 1 more will start a year. 3 starters out of 2 classes and an early entry to the NFL draft is struggling?

Wow, you must hold KF in high regards to consider that a struggle.

Newborg was recruited as an OL and didn't switch to the DL until his second year in the program. That is a miss.

1 guy (Daniels) was a home run, 1 other (Render) will be a multi year starter and 2 more will compete for starting spots next season.

That's a pretty rough back to back stretch when you brought in so many guys

2 out of the 7 will be multi year starters. 3 out of the 7 will start at least 1 full season and if Render wins the C job, 4 of the 7 may start at least one year.

Makes it even more impressive when you consider Waechter didnt last long in the program and had to leave football with injury issues.

Again, you must hold KF in pretty high regards to consider that a "rough stretch".

Why do you keep saying 7 when it was 8? Newborg was recruited as an OL and didn't switch to DL until his second year in the program. He could end up producing as aDL but that's still a OL recruiting miss

Ok, we can use 8. You originally stated it was 10, where did that number come from?

I just knew they had a lot of misses in those 2 classes so I guessed the number 10 without looking it up. The correct number was 8

You must really hold KF in high regards to consider that a rough stretch.

That didnt answer my question.

Well if you're a multi year starter and you aren't good I wouldn't say that's a hit. Type in Keegan Render on Twitter and it's all either Iowa fans saying he should be benched or media talking about how he got destroyed on a play

Just think, if Daniels wasnt good enough to turn pro as a 20 year old, those classes from the "rough stretch" would be responsible for 60% of the starting OL next year for Iowa.

Your OL is going to be bad next year so not sure what your point is
