Hello from Fort Worth!

You think anyone nationally respects TCU the way they do OU? Clearly the best team in the Big 12 and likely one of the best 4 teams in America, but where do they sit in playoff discussion? Likely barely being discussed. We're already conspiracy-theorizing how ESPN screws TCU out of a playoff spot if they're sitting at 13-0 in December.

If TCU is 13-0 or 12-1 and gets screwed over AGAIN the B12 should just start declaring its own National Champion every year.

Hello Cyclones -- Creators of the Electronic Digital Computer, and lovers of all things Corn.

Was very pleased to see you go into Lubbock last Saturday and smack down the tortilla tossers.

Extremely excited for this weekends matchup in Ames.

Hope it's a safe game for both teams with no injuries and that the refs don't factor into the outcome.

Y'all have something special going and I feel like the polls don't reflect your ranking accurately.

Side note, when I was a teen I lived in West Des Moines for a few years in the mid 90s, and in June 1994 my high school buddies and I went up to Cyclone Stadium (hadn't been renamed yet) in Ames for the Pink Floyd concert. Only time I've been in the stadium but I have fond memories. Unfortunately won't be able to make it up this weekend but have some friends that are going.

Lastly, wanted to invite y'all, if you are so inclined, to visit the sports forum I peruse for all things TCU:

Should be a fun week leading up to the game!

I was at the Pink Floyd concert also. It was fantastic. I might have been in a mind altering mood that night

@whitehispanicfrog , thanks for stopping by. Sorry about the thread derail. Hope you guys run the rest of your season except this Sat.;). Congrats on having both your FB &MBB programs going the right direction.

Glad to be here!

Ditto for Saturday and the rest of the season back at ya.

We're pretty blessed to have Gary running our FB program and now Jamie Dixon (a former Frog) at the helm of our MBB program.

It was pretty cool to see the Frog basketball team knock off KU at the end of the year in the big XII tournament. We knew it was going to be a tough matchup in the semis against y'all -- at least we lost to the team that won the tourney!

I look forward to going to the ISU men's game here Jan. 17th!

TCU is the best team in the BIG 12 this year. They are better than OU, similar talent and speed, but Gary is way better then Riley. That is why I am surprised Vegas had the clones as a 5 score underdog against OU and only one score against TCU. TCU will be the toughest team we face in the conference. TCU will beat OU (OU defense looks shaky), they have already beaten OSU & WVU. The clones will need to have their best game to have a chance against TCU. Their dual threat QB runs like a good RB and Gary has video on Kyle from three games.

Decades of being a clone fan, you know the nut kick is around the corner.

You guys went into Norman and came away with a victory.

That place is nearly impossible to win at as a visitor. That tells you how great of a team ISU has this year. I hope the winning continues (except Saturday :D) and the program stays on an upward trend.

Gary is one of the best at scheming so I'm hoping having the tape on Kyle will work to our benefit.

Here's to an exciting game!!!

ABC/E$EC is solely about maximizing revenues and that means all narratives must support the blue bloods and the $EC.

I am beyond nervous for this game...In Ames...Halloween weekend...High of 45....I guess it's time to sit back and try to enjoy what should be an exciting football game. Super glad to see Iowa State get to where they have. I hope they win every game after this weekend.

If it makes you feel any better ISU still technically has a ways to go before they've officially 'arrived'. This is a stretch where they could be sitting at 5 wins for a while.

Although this is the most confidence I've seen in the team, or felt as a fan in probably forever, and it's easily the best football I've seen ISU play as a whole. It's to a point where ISU needs to play very well to have a shot, but TCU will need to play well to win, which could make for a very fun game.

There was severe weather approaching, it was the 4th quarter at about 9:30 pm and the Frogs were up by 43. The decision was made by the coaches to run the clock so the players and fans could make it out before lightning struck. As a fan who was in the stands and that never leaves until the final bell, I can say it was a great idea.

Should be considered for every Kansas game from the opening kick.
