If Lazard gets switched to TE in the NFL, he'll be as much a TE as Jimmy Graham. So not a TE, but a "pass-catcher"
He will have a lot more than that by the end of the year. I wanted this last game for him. Would've been a nice way to end the cy-hawk series for a great player. Glad he got 2 tds

Lazard nearly had more catches than any Iowa receiver in history before his senior season even started. He would rank 3rd on the Iowa yardage list before his senior season even started as well. He would also be 5th on Iowa's receiving TD list before his senior season. Lazard's 69 catches last year would put him at 3rd on the Iowa season receptions list. His 1018 yards last year would put him at 3rd on the Iowa single season list.

It can be argued he's the best player in the state (I don't think he's the best player on ISU.....that's Montgomery) but to say he's the best "by far" is just plain dumb.
His numbers speak for themselves and most of his career he had a LB throwing to him

After watching Montgomery run over Josey Jewell 4-5 times, maybe Jewell should switch to offense?
That was a huge moral victory for ISU, a player got extra yards after Jewell tackled him. I so wish Jewell was more like this guy.
What do ISU fans think of Payne giving up on this play? If he is actually hustling the whole play Wadley gets tackled at the 20 TD line. Watch how he and the TE just stand there. What was he doing?
