CF/HN Podcast: Jon Miller on the CyHawk game

Personally, in terms of entertainment I like Miller's style much more than CW's. It's a microcosm of the game. It's clear this is Miller's yearly highlight and that ISU really gets to him, whereas listening to CW one would think it was UNI week.

You can take shots at your rival without being condescending and trolling everything your co-host says for 20 minutes straight.

Did anyone else think Jon broke down his livestock better than the game? Dude clearly loves his goats. And chickens. And whatever else he has.

Wow, some of you take this stuff way, way, way too seriously. Did you ever think that Jon Miller talks **** because he knows he can get a rise out of you? Jared is right. You played right into his hands, and he is loving it. Who cares what he says or thinks if he's such a d-bag?

Unless hawk fans came over to listen to this, no idea how it could be a top 10 listened to podcast. Can't stand anything Jon Miller. He is a condescending jerk when it comes to anything ISU, and I have zero interest in his opinion on anything. This is one of the first CF podcasts I have intentionally skipped in awhile.

Chris, hawk fans may not like you or think you are a DB, but you at least show their team/fans some respect. Jon does not.

You're right, and most Cyclone fans probably agree, which is why CW was CW. But put yourself in Miller's shoes- when you've been taught since the 1970's that this game is priority #1, Iowa's Super Bowl. It's no wonder Jon gets a bit insecure. I love it, otherwise two CW's would be boring.

I actually didn't hate the podcast. Jon was Jon, but it's informative to hear the other side. Jon's condescending schtick was a little too heavy, but I get it was making jokes to rile Cyclone fans up. Otherwise, I don't disagree with either side.

This hurts more than being called pro-Hawk. Both hurt a lot. I’m in much pain at the moment.
Maybe you should quit and start up a hawk website in Nebraska. You could call it BigRedHawkBlog or WhitePantsGoldPants or GoBigHawkTalk...
