How do you not understand that most everyone thinks JM is a giant d-bag, and a Hawkeye blowhard. He doesn't give any good insight, and slights Iowa State all the damn time. How that man has a platform to spew his thoughts is beyond me, and people who enjoy listening to him is further beyond me.

To be honest, I don't think you can understand the passive aggressive ******** of most Iowa fans, Jon Miller included, unless you grew up an Iowa State fan. Its the constant crap that we've had to put up with for our entire lives. And you can see it in supposedly non biased media sources too (compare the fawning that Leistikow does over Iowa in the Register compared to the normal reporting/analyzing that Randy does for Iowa State).

I'm pretty sure that you and Chris didn't grow up as Iowa State fans. In most ways, that makes you better equipped to run a fan site. But those of us that did grow up as Iowa State fans have a much different perspective on Iowa fans.

And almost all of us don't know Jon Miller outside of his Hawkeye Nation role. I assume he has some good qualities, but I don't see them, so it is very easy and understandable that a lot of Iowa State fans don't like him.

He used to have a show on KXNO. 2 hours all to himself, where he would spend days talking about the Iowa Football 4 deep roster. That was highlighted by comparing players weights from when they got to campus to that season. Then would basically say he knew nothing about ISU's roster or really anything about ISU. It was radio so bad you just couldn't turn it off at times.

I respect Chris, enjoy his work and most things he does for CF and KXNO, but when it comes to Miller, I just cannot listen. Ever time I hear Miller, see a comment or tweet from him I lose more respect for the man.

I generally like JM and listen to his podcast with Deace pretty frequently.

That said, this was simply a troll pod by both Chris and Jon. I'm only 13 minutes in but it's the same dumb tavernhawk jokes that have been on repeat for 20 years.

I enjoy different perspectives but this is just the same perspective.

Would rather have Travis Justice "enlighten" me about all things hoks than listen to this one. Sorry Chris, the podcasts are always top notch, but not this time.

After the 2014 season, IIRC. David Swartz, who contributes to that wasteland over at HN, is worse then Miller.

Then literally 12 months later, JD is back on he KF wagon.

I have no respect for him. He tries to make bank money off the Unversity and never went to school there and probably hasn't bought a ticket to Kinnick or Carver in 15+ years, doesn't go to games or pressers to cover the team and has probably never donated a dime to Iowa.

He is the definition of a leech.

Thats brutal lol, Williams does a pretty good job for the most part agreed. I wish Blum would do more, he is excellent and a lifelong Cyclone.
