Philbert was a starter FYI. So was Mike Johnson. Both never saw another down after their incidents. ISU has earned criticism for their lack of wins, but Campbell has also earned the benefit of the doubt on discipline. If you really believe that he is going to bend his standards for a walk on backup LB, you're even dumber than you let on. If Alexander plays again, then it's because the staff and university believe his side of the story to be true. It's not like they are sweeping anything under the rug.

It's always funny when Hawk fans resort to making fun of Iowa State football. I don't speak for everyone, but that doesn't bother me. We are who we are as a program. On the other hand, you guys have had an abundance of NFL guys go through and seem to underachieve some seasons. It'll be fun when things get rough this season and fans start calling for Kirk's head again.
