Ehh, I'd be surprised if Iowa sees him much. Not sure, he just got here. I am sure that you'll be seeing him on the 9th, though.

Butlers Nevada team lost to San Jose St last year.
San Jose St could have been one of the worst FBS teams I've ever seen in person.
Wadley>Montgomery, but not by as much as you'd think.
Warren>whoever Iowa wants to say is their #2.
Iowa will obviously run for more yardage than ISU, that's what they do. I'm just talking RB talent. Put Montgomery or Warren on Iowa and they would thrive too, just like Wadley.
You don't rank your position group by just your best guy. If that were the case, Iowa's WR position would look great because of Vandenburg, but we all know they have nothing after him.
"That Notre Dame offer wasn't committable! That Florida State offer wasn't committable!" - Iowa fans, probably
Iowa's depth at RB is way greater than ISU. First of all Wadley and Butler >>> Montgomery and Warren. Then behind those guys Iowa is deeper as well.
As far as QB goes, I'm not saying Iowa QB > Park, but by the end of the season it will be a tough debate as to who is better going into the 2018 season. The RB debate though, won't be a debate as Iowa will have 2 1,000 yard rushers again this season.
You ever heard of a sophomore slump? Plus, Montgomery came in as a true freshman and played better than him and took snaps away.
Montgomery and Warren have both shown what they can do against P5 level competition, Butler has not.

Haha, I remember this. If memory serves, you compared it to a video game, where someone would run the same play over and over and win, even if they were not better than you.I said in another thread I think Iowa wins because they'll just run the same stupid play over and over again and my gut is telling me it will be too early in the year for our D-Line to stop them. I really wish we played them at the end of the year this year.

Man, that was a great post. Its almost like you don't believe that the better team should be able to stop the lesser team from running the same productive play, over and over again.

I can see it being like when you're playing NCAA and someone runs the same play over and over and over again. They aren't actually better, they're just exploiting one stupid play.
..... Though you would have us believe otherwise, your football team is not in the company of Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma; nor for that matter, Tennessee, Stanford, Florida or North Dakota State.
You can add approximately 40 other teams to this list who received preseason votes.
Who said Iowa is a top 15 program?
I'll let one your fellow hok fans take credit for that one if he wants to do so. He posts on CF quite often.
You should just call them out, no need to protect that poster. If you really don't feel like calling them out, you could just link it.
TIA.
Interesting. I have heard from hok fans that neither QB looks all that good and it is definitely a step back from Bethard. Should be interesting to watch. We aren't ISU, we recruit and develop high level QB's. 3 of Iowa's last 4 QB's were drafted into the NFL. Both QB's competing for the starting spot were 4* recruits by at least one rating service, Iowa will be fine at QB. CJ made some pretty great plays vs ISU his first time playing at Jack Trice.

This one is LOL funny. Now we are looking back years at who offered to see if someone is better now. Iowa doesn't know what we have at QB yet and neither does anyone else. All just speculation. We will know a little after the 1st game and will have a much better idea say half way into the season.
Will be glad when it is Sept 10 and this is settled. Some of this stuff is just way out there reaching.
