Yes Warren was coming off a freshman All American season in a P5 conference.
Can't wait to see Iowa stop lazard, butler, Jones, Allen, and Montgomery. Could be a long day with park back there dropping dimes

Iowa fans love to talk about how great their O line is, until someone tries to credit them for rushing yards.
Montgomery had over 30% of his yards for the entire season in ONE GAME against one of the 10-12 worst defenses in all of college football.
He averaged 2.8 YPC against Texas Tech....the absolute worst Defense in all of college football in yards allowed and points allowed.
But please....keep arguing that he's superior to the guy that averaged more yards per carry, had double the total yards on the season and did it against much better defenses
Same type of voters who say Zeke and DeMarco Murray were the "best" running backs in the NFL the last 5 years.
The funny part is that 2.8 YPC is higher than what Butler did against Purdue last year.
Until it is proven different Iowa Starting RB and backup RB > ISU RB. Just like until it is proven different, Park > Stanley, and ISU CB > Rugamba.
It is pretty easy to be objective, something you can't do, or just can't stop your troll.
Man, the list is pretty legit when they don't include all the studs from last year like Butler and Warren for guys from Old Dominion, WKU, Troy, Tulsa, App. State, Ball State, etc.
What are you talking about? Wadley and Montgomery are both on the Doak Walker List. Nobody else.
The initial one? Nah. Pretty much a participation trophy for returning starters. When it comes down to the finalists... pretty close.
Warren had 1300 yards the year before and was on the Doak Walker list last year. Iowa Starting RB and Backup RB > Warren and all ISU RB last year.
Until ISU proves they have a better RB, Iowa starter and Backup are better.
