This was the first one we went to, I can't remember when else they offered camp. The old coach did lessons which this new coach has not done. We did batting in a small group of 3 (cost a little more than the group of 8 that was offered, and a little less than one-on-one) and did catching one-on-one. But I know things change a bit once you hit 9th grade for NCAA recruiting purposes. Usually I get computer generated emails from RYZER that detect similar events to the ones I have signed up for through the checkout program ISU uses. Like I get volleyball ones for the daughter who has done volleyball camp, I think the Jan softball ones came through as an event alert as well since she had done hitting before.
Daughter had her first day of HS VB camp today with a new coach. Coach told them that they can win the conference. That is the equivalence of campbell telling the players at ISU that they would win the conference last year. Our HS team is the ISU FB of our conference with 2-3 monsters in it.
Many other coach speak things when I asked her how it went. This guy got fired from his last job and a tiny school so it could be interesting.

Ours should be going to VB open gym on Monday and Tuesday mornings, but not pushing it right now with softball still going on. Volleyball (and softball) does strength and conditioning 7-8:30a, then open gym 8:30-11a. Then softball has been around 3:30-4pm starttime for BP so makes for long days. Once softball is over she will do more volleyball. We were one game away from state last year, in the top 2 of our conference. We lost one senior who will play volleyball in college and now we are losing Kevin Jackson's daughter. But like I said, our freshman class has at least 4-5 really good players. Not sure any will play varsity, but won't count it out considering one of them is the varsity coach's daughter.
**** hail. Spent three hours cleaning up leaves and branches today. My hostas took a much worse beating then I thought. Not totally destroyed but pretty beat. Last week I was admiring the big Sum & Substance hosta that, after years of trying to get it going, just took off this spring and was looking awesome. Operative word, was.

Are you looking at used? There is a sliding door recall they they do not have a fix for. It has been months since we first got the recall. You are supposed to turn the auto doors off but we are currently living dangerously.
Our daughter just finished Driver ed Tuesday. It was weight lifting at 7, basketball at 8 and driver ed from 9-11. She would work a few hours and then go in for sb around 4. Now it's VB instead of drivers ed.
All sports are going at it. My son walked out of the house before 7 with his wrestling shoes. That was a first for that.
Wow between your and Birdy's post it sounds crazy, I thought summer was supposed to be SB & BB and some time off till practices start the 1st of Aug. evidently I'm mistaken.
