Shakur Juiston on njcaatv.com tonight

Allowed? Yes. But I do not got there as it tends to be the gathering place for the more...... belligerent portion of our fan base. Oddly, I find the conversation here to be more civil and I enjoy reading different opinions than mine. Kinda boring to read 50 posts that all agree with you.
Thats because Kansas fans are braindead douchebags.

I think it would be good for the conference for a different team to win the regular season title and I'm hoping our Fab 5 wind up surprising everyone and doing it. It would probably help KU in the post season cause their 5 stars might have a little more to prove instead of worrying about an injury that will impact their draft position. Signing Juiston Would be a great next step in our march to excellence!

Thomas Robinson wasn't a proven player when he entered his junior year. Jeff Withey SUCKED his first few years. If the big problem for KU fans is worrying about whether we will get some good play out of Preston, Azubuike, Coleby, Lightfoot and whoever else we end up with then it's going to be another good year.

Maybe you missed where I said KU is best when they have seasoned veterans down low in the post. Guys self (formely Manning) were able to develop for years. Robinson and Withey certainly did not suck as upperclassman. Interior youngsters have a harder time coming in and being high level players from day one. Take a look at Diallo and your guy Cliff Alexander for recent examples.

Don't care to comment how you figure the four star freshman Tilmonis going to make such a bigger impact than the four star junior Juiston??

Barnes . . . until we know more, it seems odd, to me anyway. What's the connection? Someone must have put the two in contact with one another. Who would be that person? CSP? Has he reached out to Barnes? Wouldn't Barnes interest in a recruit be related to his alma mater, UNC? (If he graduated, that is; idk.) And yet the contact occurred while SJ is on a visit to iSu?

Just very strange. . . . At least on the surface.

I don't know if HB's mother still lives in Ames, but he could be home for Easter.

but still, why would he be talking to one of our recruits on a visit? Does Barnes have access to the basketball facility. Was it on the phone, if so why did that happen? Who put the two together? Does Barnes even like ISU? Could Barnes tell him to follow the path he took, which is go to a blue blood? Or another way of putting it, was Barnes helping ISU's cause or hurting it?

I'm guessing it's because he's a hometown kid that's already won a championship at the highest level. From all accounts, he loves ISU.

Pretty sure Harrison goes back to Ames often. He actually had the Mav's front office in Ames to sign his max contract with them last summer. The basketball and AAU world is pretty small and Shakur and Him could have some coaching connections. I assume they met in Ames yesterday and I would think that he would describe ISU and Ames to him positively. The tweet can be interpreted a lot of ways but I think it is a good sign.

He tweeted that after midnight so they could have run into him at the bar or maybe Sukup.

Barnes does like ISU and his mom still lives in Ames.

Harrison Barnes is from Ames, and is home for Easter. Juiston is in Ames visiting, that's how they talked. If Harrison was 2 or more years younger, he more than likely would have been a Cyclone. It's not impossible to bump into someone in Ames, but I'm sure Prohm welcomes Barnes to the facility if he wants to visit... as he's a famous Cyclone fan.
