Iowa has beaten Penn State. I think they need only three wins in the B-10 tournament to get a NCAA bid. Just getting to the B-10 tournament championship game is enough for them, win or lose. All of the above is very doable for Iowa.

Lol. Um no, they have little to no chance to win 3 games even in the horrible Big 10 tourney. They sealed their NIT bid today
 
I think they get in. The bubble is so weak this year, the committee will be searching for decent teams. But Iowa fans think this team will benefit from the NIT so they may turn down the bid.

I'm not surprised you feel this way. You don't like the fact that I speak the truth about the Hawks and the lowly Big 10. I'm sorry that hurts your feelings and you have to resort to name calling.

Good call on that Penn State game.
 
Iowa has the quality wins to get in, its just the RPI that's holding them back. 2 wins in the BIG tournament and they get in. If they go 0-1 then NIT if 1-1 then its a toss up.

If they had the quality wins to get in wouldn't their RPI reflect that?

They need 2 wins for a toss up, 3 to be in, 1 is NIT. They have a 74 RPI right now and Indiana isn't going to move the needle at 81. The lowest RPI to ever make it was 67, Indiana won't get them in. They're going to need to beat Maryland as well to even have a shot.

NIT..hell it's straight on to the Sweet Sixteen now--just check out the pained parallels Hawk shill Leisty is trying to draw in the Register. We all should bow down to our Hawkeye overlords immediately--maybe just give them the championship without playing.

It's actually fun seeing them have hope, I have HaLk friends texting me asking what I think it would take to make it.

This is my thinking as an Iowa fan. I will feel pretty good with 2 wins but also realize that wouldn't seal anything. 3 wins and they'd be at the 20 win mark with wins over several quality teams which I think would be enough. It's ironic that they arguably have more good wins this season while on or just outside of the bubble than they had when they were assured a berth in the NCAA.

2 more wins gets them to 20.
 
I think they have a decent shot with 1 win in the Big10 tourney. The Bubble is very weak and the committee alway loves to get as many Big 10 teams in as they can.
