Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

I've been busy all day with work, but I thought I would check in over lunch. Are people seriously trying to convince us that Bohannon is good now??? Wow, he had one good shooting night, but he's still a tiny little loser who can't play defense. Outside of the last game, he's been exactly who I thought he'd be. An undersized point guard who may be able to hit some 3's against a terrible defensive team, but generally a huge liability on both sides of the floor. It's almost a joke that he starts at pg for a "major" (if you can call Iowa that) basketball program.

We just lost to Texas, that was Feb 9th, 18 days ago, things are fluid, they change. At that point in time it was reasonable to say we could possibly lose on the road to Nebraska since we just lost at Texas.

Why is it so unfathomable that we could lose to Nebraska when we just lost at Texas and they are 50 spots higher in RPI than Texas?

Im actually done arguing with you, but since you have so much time on your hands go lookup my posts in other threads where I tell people even when we were losing that we could easily get to 9-9 or 10-8 and still make the tourney.

In fact, there are posts out there where I said we could finish 8-10 and still make it because of the strength of the conference.

I'm annoyed at all the Iowa fans drooling all over him now. How stupid is your fan base? I mean this guy has no business on the court most of the time unless he is on fire like Saturday. Otherwise, he should be at the very end of the bench. The problem is, Iowa is so bad that they have nobody else to play. That's really pathetic.

You need to chill, you're taking what I say way too seriously. So I cant be upset we lost to Texas? Everyone else was at the time. Just funny you want to talk about stuff that happened 3 weeks ago. Ive moved on.

I have agreed with some of the things you said, but this isn't a thread for defending HaLks. You're better off just not responding to the dumb comments from ISU fans.

I think for what has been thrown at him so far in his collegiate career he has handled it pretty well. Hopefully Iowa can find a true PG so that he won't be pigeonholed into the position for the rest of his career.

I have no issues making fun of Iowa fans, I just think some posters on here go completely overboard with their trolling. I guess my downfall was responding to ridiculous statements people make that have no factual basis.

Nothing can really top the guy earlier with the Jok statement so I'll keep my mouth shut now when people say things, nothing can really top that.

Not even sure if this deserves a comment but I'll bite. He is six foot tall, plays major minutes for a P5 basketball team and on a team that is 16-13.

I know he's a freshman but it's just hard to watch him play defense. Fran does everything he can to hide him but it still doesn't work

Any substantial minutes? No. He'd be playing the 2 position instead of point guard, and would be behind Thomas, Jackson (when he is in with Morris, not playing the point, even though Morris has played off the point a few times when Jackson has been in), and Babb.

And Naz which means Prohm would have to play 5 guards which he wouldn't do

The problem with this statement, is @Stewo wasnt trolling when he said Jackson is better than Jok. He actually believes that.
