Ranking on Monday

Creighton and Maryland lost and we beat a top 10 team. We SHOULD be ranked, but I bet pollsters don't look as close as we do sadly.

I would say that we deserve it. Sure we have 9 losses, but a lot of those were close against top-25 teams. Plus, being 11-5 in arguably the toughest conference in the nation sounds like a top-25 team to me.

Kenpom absolutely loves the way UVA destroys the game of basketball the same way it did with one of Wisconsin's lesser teams a few years back.

Judging by how everyone in the media talks about Oklahoma State, I'm assuming they'll be ranked top 5. Beating teams ranked on KenPom 35th twice, 40th twice, 63 twice, 37th one, 74th once, 4th one, is worthy of maybe even the number 1 ranking I think. I'm kidding, this talk of how good Okie Lite is because they beat up on garbage for 9 of 10 games is getting old. Not to mention if we win Tuesday we will have beat them 9 times straight.

I've watched Maryland a few times this year. If they are considered a top 25 team (and even an NCAA lock), I think every Big XII team not named OU or KSU should also be ranked in the top 25.

What they have done is pretty impressive. They are a tough well coached team. There isn't any way you can beat only garbage opponents 9 out of 10 times in this conference.
