Not a bad crowd last night and a pretty good mix of flurries. We sometimes don't wrestle too smart. Can't do that when conditioning not there. Lack of display of talent development has been frustrating. But as a fan, there have been harder matches to sit through. That said, as we move through this 'process', hoping that apathy doesn't replace frustration for the fan base. Speaking of apathy, what is up with Harrington's behavior at the end of the match and after? He done.

Apathy set in after conference realignment for me. It would be nice to have a good program, but even then I don't think it'll ever mean as much as it used to.

The Big Ten is so far ahead of the rest of the country that I think it's really hurting the sport. For schools in other conferences, there's no coverage and less and less opportunities to have really meaningful duals late into the season. Then you add the increasing gap in budgets and it's becoming impossible to recruit.

Terrible excuse. OK State, Mizzou, Cornell and Virginia Tech strongly disagree.

The MAC and the ACC get covered through ESPN and the EIWA is covered on Flo as is the big 12 tournament now outside of the finals (which was also televised last season). The PAC 12 also has its own network and I've been able to watch wrestling on tv the last couple of years from that conference as well. I think the only conference for wrestling that lacks coverage right now is the EWL

Does this mean our wrestlers aren't too smart? Or that they have been coached in a manner that isn't too smart? I'm always shocked when a coach says something about guys not wrestling smart or hard. Those are two things that every wrestler should be able to control and bring to every match.
