Probably the most entertaining thing I've ever seen on these NYE shows. Will watch again.
So true. Nothing on these NYE shows is worth watching, so when there is an epic fail like this, at least it's entertaining.
Look, I don't care about Mariah Carey, but she was clearly ripped at tech support or someone for screwing the whole thing up. She says the monitors aren't working, and that it isn't the same song from "mic check".
I think it would be pretty hard to perform in front of thousands of screaming people if someone switches playbooks without telling you.

Maybe because they can't sing? At least they can't any longer.
That was awesome to watch. I almost felt bad then I remembered it was Mariah Carey. If your going to lip sync you deserve what's coming.
Not a Mariah fan, but if the monitors (speakers facing the band) don't work, it is quite a bit more difficult. She did start getting going when she went onto the platform, so she had the tempo going once, why she went down and messed it up is a question. She is a first rate douchebag from what I've heard so I don't feel sorry for her.
