Creepy Campus Clowns....Everywhere!!!

So we just had a report of creepy clowns on campus last night in Lawrence and apparently there was clown hunting mob/riot at Penn St.

I know there have been some clown threads before, but has anybody seen any clowns on campus in Ames?

my ex told me there was supposedly one by jack trice the other night but i didn't see anything on twitter so i doubt it. i know there has been some sightings of some in des moines and iowa city.

Don't get why anyone would want to do it. The clowns are just asking to get beat up at this point. If I was with a couple friends and we saw a creepy clown I wouldn't hesitate to fighting it.

Most of the ones you see on twitter are kids trying to get RT's and favorites. They're usually not real.

I say I would beat a clown up, but they are pretty creepy and I'd probably just run away.

I asked my students this morning to tweet out there was a clown sighted outside the school

Two twitter accounts with >10,000 followers "verified" the clown sighting at the school.

I'm sure people are dressing up as clowns, but it's not as serious as people are making it. Originally, the idea was that these clowns are attacking people, but now they are just being idiots.

I was thinking about this. Eventually some kid dressed like this is gonna wander onto the wrong persons property and get shot. I don't see how this "fad" doesn't come to a sticky end.

yeah there has been videos of clowns standing on people's porches, but i know some of the viral videos of clowns have been hoaxes. if there was actually clowns standing on my porch i'm grabbing my bat.
