I think it is great. Perfect song for a storm brewing.
No but while at Parks Marina, I heard the Polka Police playing it on accordions at the Barefoot Bar. That was interesting.
Makes sense. Cyclones are a meteorological event. Thunder is a meteorological event.
To the people who don't like this as an entrance song, I'd love to hear what your choice would have been. I would have liked Dope - Die MF Die, but obviously wouldn't happen so I'm happy with Thunderstruck.

The song should be something that the players and recruits like...pretty sure they wouldnt vote for this
Maybe is was remixed. Before the season last year, a poster on here made a sick Thunderstruck remix for the entrance song. I wouldn't be opposed if it was something like that,
Ive been waiting for this thread to read everyones pissy posts about the team not choosing their favorite song that nobody has ever heard of. Satisfied.
If the fire can be timed with the music, it has a chance to be impressive.
Unless it's part of the "storm is brewing" theme. Makes sense to me. Not my favorite, but I still like it.
I think this makes me love Matt Campbell more. I never understood the ******** about the entrance song. In a lot of ways, this song reminds me of Smoke on the Water which never especially bothered me. It's an entrance song. You cheer when they play it. It isn't some sort of huge deal. So it tickles me that apparently a fair number of people are going to be pissed about it.
Matt Campbell picks something from his youth. Paul Rhoads did the same thing. If this is the song it is very satisfying from the perspective of someone who has been annoyed at the never-ending ******** about the music at the stadium. And from someone who when reading the suggestions many of the people on here had realized that they have very bad taste in music and/or no knowledge of what the kids like these days anyway.

I could repost that if wanted. It got taken down for a copyright issue because the intro portion for the team's entrance video had Wolfmother playing. But I'm going to go ahead and guess they're not using a remix.
If you like Two Cellos you should listen to Apocalyptica. All electric cellos...I love them. They have guest singers like Corey Taylor and guest drummers.
They started out doing Metallica covers but have some really great original material.
I think it is an ok choice even for that demographic. Nothing to get real excited about but not an awful choice.
I think the more important part is execution.
I really hope it's not Thunderstruck...Marshall started using that in the early 90s...seems like everyone uses it as pump up music now.
