Iowa Football Recruiting

He's better at development than he is recruiting and he's pretty great at recruiting. It's almost comical to watch, hey staff we need a JUCO DT right? Who's Oregon recruiting hard right now? Call that kid, get him on campus and boom...sirens
So in other words he gets oregons left overs.

Also he doesn't have much time to develop any juco players.

Looks to me like a ball hawking safety who has no problem laying the wood as well. Flashes of Ed Reed for sure, don't want to get crazy but he might be a taller and better version of Bobby "the Hitman" Sanders. Probably should just shut my mouth and go with the Reed example though.
He can lay all the wood he wants in Kinnick Stadium, but he better not try that hanky-panky on our field.

I agree, he reminds me of Fran in that regard.

He can get a bunch of Low rates 3 stars, a seldom 4 star, have a few years of moderate success, and than ditch you guys when a top tier school knocks on the door for an OC.

Get some moderate success and he can leave and we'll hire someone like Stoops or Dabo

Cmon Gonzo you can even admit Iowa's 2015 class was garbage and you were wrong about that one. Rutgers, Syracuse, San Jose State, Washington State, Wake Forest, Maryland, etc all had better classes than Iowa that year

Actually I relooked and yeah, Iowa's 2015 definitely better than ISU's 2016 class. Your avg. commit ranking in '16 was barely 82.5. Iowa's was over 83.

Exactly. Iowa's '16 class clearly better and since you can't compare # ranking from one year vs. other years you can only go by actual quality of the recruits based on ratings. Our avg. '15 recruit was over 83, your avg. '16 recruit 82.5.

'17 is looking up though. I do believe a storm is brewing.

Did you factor in the cost of living changes?

On a different note does anyone else have "CloneAlum08" dislike most their anti-Iowa stuff or am I the only one this Hawkeye fan is obsessed with?
