That's a great deal, but doesn't that kind of suck for the people that bought the $175 season tickets already?

Apparently we play both Texas Tech and WVU on the 19th, the rare football double header.

I have $175 tickets and it doesn't bother me.
I'm not necessarily saying they'd be bothered by it, although some will be, $175 is a fine price for season tickets. It's just interesting that they do this clearly better package so long after people would have bought the $175 tickets that, unless I'm not thinking about this mobile thing correctly, are inferior in just about every way to the new mobile pass.

Yeah, it's only $50 more and you know where you are sitting for every game. That's a plus.

If I didn't have a new baby coming in a few weeks I'd jump all over the 125 tickets though. Stupid helpless tiny human. :jimlad:

Why is it a plus to know where you're sitting further in advance though?

You get two lower level seats, probably to the late in the year games, but you could be in complete nosebleeds the other games.

The only 175 packages that they are CLEARLY better than are the absolute worst 175 seats.

These packages will only get sold when there are tickets left to sell. If the team does well and more people buy tickets earlier than these go away. So I wouldn't complain about having the guaranteed season tickets at a higher price. This is like a sale by a business who has extra inventory left at the end of the day. Not guaranteed.

Hell they might be able to "mobile" you to the hillsides for some games. I didn't see/read the fine print on that.

Not a big plus. It may be nice to sit in the same place and get to know the people around you. For those who are a little social anyway. I don't think it would be easy to sell these tickets if you can't make it to a game or two.

Sit by friends. Know the view.

I'm wondering if people will be able to get two or more of this new package "together" That might be doubtful.
But you can buy 8 of these in one transaction and all sit together every game.

Can't resell these tickets, so that's a down side, although you're only paying like $18 per ticket so not that big of a down side.

Interesting. I'm surprised they are going to be able to guarantee up to 8 tickets together in the lower section for that many groups for multiple games.

It sounds like a great deal.
