Mike Taylor:
As we all know, was drafted 55th in this years draft by the Portland Blazer's and then traded to the LA Clippers with whom he will be playing with at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas next week. Just got in LA today.

Curtis Stinson:
Is out in LA working out with Baron Davis until next week's NBA Summer League starts up. Has been asked to play with Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, LA Clippers, and Phoenix Suns; his choice on who he will play with next week. Also has been offered $50,000 to play in the Phillipines for just the month of August, the month of the league's playoffs.

Jiri Hubalek:
Currently still in Ames and is planning on going to Las Vegas for next week's Summer League. Will most likely play for the Phoenix Suns or Memphis Grizzlies if anyone. Has been offered to play in Germany next year for a substantial amount of $400,000; close to league minimum here in the states.

Rashon Clark:
Has several offers to play next year over in Germany and Israel. Continuing to work out and rehab from his recent knee surgery.

Will Blalock:
Still recovering from recent stroke, plans on being back on the court in 3-4 months. Our prayers are with him.

Damion Staple
:
Back in Ames, has been living and working out in Miami. Plans on returning to play in Mexico next year.

Jared Homan:
Offered somewhere around $500,000 to play over in Poland again next year. Has a house in Las Vegas with Jackson Vroman.

Jackson Vroman:
Has also received quite the offer to return overseas and play in Spain next year.

Best of luck to our former Cyclones.

I might have been living under a rock for the last few months or something but Blalock had a stroke? When did this happen? Everything ok? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe Jessan is planning on playing over seas again next year.

He tore his ACL towards the end of this past season.

His agent is working on getting him another contract, he didn't really get a shot last spring because of tearing his ACL immediately upon his arrival overseas. As of now he is working in DMS.

Are those $ amounts factoring in that European contracts are listed net of taxes(ie they pay their own countries tax rate leaving the American players to pay the difference if there is one).

Regardless, thats awesome money for them...

Thanks...always curious about former players!

Now if anyone could tell me were Marcus Fizer is that would be great!

I thought I saw Jessan and Anthony Davis in the stands at a cap city league game a couple weeks back. That makes more sense now.

how about Willoughby??? i still want to know what happened to that guy... pry my favorite player of all time

Last I heard...no one knows. Literally, no one has any idea where he's at.

That guy was without a doubt my favorite Cyclone growing up...

His uncle recognized our ISU gear while in Houston for the bowl game. Gave us instructions for buying booze. He said Dedric was a restaurant manager in LA iirc.

He was awesome to watch!

I don't remember, but why didn't he end up making it bigger?

not sure but he did have 2 10-day contracts with the Bulls when Floyd was there... I talked to Cato when he was back for the 100 year celebration game and he said that last he knew he was managing a restraunt in Atlanta, but that was 5-6 years ago...

I think Willoughby was deemed too small for the NBA, but he basically got the 2 short contracts with the Bulls. He was great.
