Came for Jackson news, leaving after cryptic messages, people crying about cryptic messages, people asking for more detail or source, and finally people saying how revealing sources will not get them info in the future.

I actually visited this thread hoping to find a Lion King reference. Thanks Peteypie, my "circle of life" now feels complete!

Yes. There are an awful lot of these semi-related, yet conflicting and confusing bits of information and entanglements. It kind of reminds me of the start of World War I. I hope that I'm not the Franz Ferdinand of CF.
Alliances here are fluid, ever-changing to meet the circumstances of the day, not rigid with a subsequent cascading effect. You might be safe ;-)

When Jeremy left it was like Bismarck dying.

So you're saying this is more like Germany in the Middle Ages. There does seem to be a bit of Flagellantism going on in this thread.

Masterful job, CF. Have found a way to have a meltdown of post-game proportions in the off-season.

Who needs another Hoiberg Watch? All the same factions can reappear even without losing a Cyclone legend.

I think most of us have already anointed Malou as a legend. What's really unique and wondrous is how the Malou meltdown manifested itself in the Donovan Jackson thread.

I remember a couple weeks ago people were talking about he might not make it. Then those people were asked why and they wouldn't even say what type of issues they thought there were. That's when a lot of people said he is going to be here and people who say he isn't are sky is falling types. Say you think it might be issues regarding his clock. Otherwise people thought that they were freaking out about his academic standing at DMACC.

Personally, I didn't know what the issues were exactly. Just that an AA from DMACC didn't seal the deal.

He was a bit of a noble warrior.

However, I still have a hard time getting past the fact that the only thing he liked on a burger was ketchup.

That's the one thing I don't like on a burger. Or on anything, for that matter. Ketchup is for children.

Am I doing this right?

The Cyclone Fanatic Our Team Scholarship Chart has not been updated so let's keep the "who's leaving" speculation to a minimum, you guys.

Ketchup goes great on steak and lobster. You guys are missing out.

You are sort of doing this right.
Yes. You are keeping this off-topic.

No. Ketchup is fine on unseasoned fries and in very small amounts on hot dogs.

I got some good news and some bad news that will come out in the next few years about ISU athletics in general. If you can't wait for Halsted, Birch, etc. and just want to know that there will be an announcement, I'm your guy. Don't ask me any details or how I know, since I wasn't supposed to say anything anyway and I wouldn't want to risk my double digit sources not giving me the kind of information that I can't share in the future.

I'll confirm my news once they get officially announced. Then you'll know that is what I was talking about.
