Great episode, action packed and risky to go in like that. Isn't the bad-guy chick that caught Carol and Maggie in the horror flick Urban Legend? Oh man, I wish they had that Rebecca Gayheart (Noxzema Girl) in the next episodes too.
Rick annoys me. He's like the Trump of the show where he just comes up with an idea and goes. This Jesus guy is a pretty cool character. I hope he doesn't turn on them at some point because he'd be a really good asset since it seems like he's smarter than Rick is. This has been a show that I've watched but it's never really grabbed me like some others have. This plot line is starting to grab me though as I'm not sure this will be a short lived feud.
I'm wondering if they didn't want to postpone bring the head. Might have been more suspicious if the waited a couple days to bring the head back. "What the hell took so long?!?" being the obvious response.
Good point. I'd also like to say that I knew Negan was not in there the minute a simple guard made the decision to free the Hilltop hostage. If Negan was at that compound, the guard would have said something like "let me check with Negan" or had Negan himself take a look at the head.
Jesus seems to combine the quick wit of Glen with the hunting skills of Daryl and the wisdom of Herschel. In short, he's the best of Rick's top advisors in one package. I hope he survives as a character. He seems to be living in this world without having it turn him dark yet.
Speaking of Daryl, did anyone else wonder after the battle when we didn't see him right away if maybe Daryl was still in the "green room"?

Right after this scene I wondered, "Who gets custody of Eugene?" Tough situation for the little guy.
Yeah, I don't get Abraham's logic there. He may feel more a kinship with Sasha, but a super hot bird in the hand...
Who knows if Sasha even wants to be with anyone in this post apocalyptic universe. Rosita made you a pretty necklace man!
