I think Iowa beats Temple. Villanova sucks in the tournament so wouldn't be surprised if Iowa won that too. Who knows though. Hope Iowa finishes its slide.

Does anyone see any upsets in the first region? I can see Temple over Iowa and UConn over Colorado but no real big upsets.

Immediate assessment, which I will manage to make worse within a couple days -- UConn over CU as you said, and Hawaii over Cal is tempting. Temple beats Iowa.

IMO, that region is wide open and will be difficult to predict. There are several teams that have gone through some major ups and downs during the season.

I agree with that. Maryland and Cal are definitely vulnerable teams and it wouldn't surprise me if maybe one of them doesn't get past the first game. Kansas will steamroll that easy region.
