Iowa/MSU

Shows the respect Iowa gets. Iowa State was favored against a higher ranked team last night and Iowa are dogs tonight to a lower ranked one.
Respect? Iowa is the #1 overall seed right now. If they win tonight...??

You too don't know how betting lines work?

That was before last night. Texas Tech is now #47 and Indiana is #54.

Ouch that your underdogs to a team that is worse than an atrocious Texas Tech team

I would imagine after their game tonight Indiana would jump back in front of them if that's the way you're playing it.

Hopefully Iowa doesn't lose to a team that is worse than an atrocious Big 12 team. I could only imagine the melt down with the 14 people on HN

Hey, when someone from the JayHawk conference can unseat the 12 year run as league champs, we can talk. The b12 has had 1 team and a couple holding on to their shirt tails for over a decade.

I'm talking about how there has been NO ONE other than Kansas win the B12 in well over a decade. It's embarrassing.

And, yes, one can still be a "fan" but dislike the fans. I'm sure you get that right? You don't seem overly bright though.

So you're an ISU fan but you think the bottom 4 of the Big 12 are atrocious? The Big 12 is obviously top to bottom the best league in college basketball and the bottom of the Big 12 is way better than the bottom of the B1G

Iowa hasn't even played Minnesota and Iowa played all of the top B1G teams thus far and has the most difficult schedule in the conference. they don't get to play all the lowest teams twice.

The bottom of the b12 is atrocious and you get to play every one of them, TWICE. That's 8 games vs bad teams.

Who is you? Shouldn't it be we if you are an ISU fan?

I'm not sure what the big deal is. Iowa's SOS is really close to ISU in conference play, and tougher than lots of other Big 12 teams to date. It is clearly the toughest Big Ten schedule of any of the Big Ten teams. To try to claim that Iowa hasn't played anyone is just silly really.

ISU #8
WVU #13
Iowa #19
Kansas #22
OU #23
Texas #27
Baylor #31
Maryland #39
MSU #60
Purdue #61
Indiana #159

These are all conference play SOS.

That goes to show you just how bad Indiana is

Well is shows how bad of schedule they have played. It doesn't necessarily make their team bad. Playing bad teams, doesn't make you bad in and of itself. I honestly haven't seen them play one second of one game, so I have no idea how good/bad they are personally.

It does show that Iowa has played a tough schedule though. I'm not sure why some around here insist on saying otherwise?

They aren't even in the top 50 RPI. That pretty much explains how bad they are. One top 50 RPI win and 3 sub 100 RPI losses.

To reference that to ISU right now, we have 6 top 50 RPI wins and only 1 sub 100 RPI loss

They will be top 50 after playing Iowa. Probably jump 10 spots if they beat them.

This thread is all over the place. Iowa has a good SOS. Indiana has a pretty nice record, but their schedule is weak so it's difficult to discern whether or not they are for real. Chances are they aren't near as good as their record says. Iowa will probably prove that tonight. I'm not sure why anyone has to over-complicate things.
