We are pretty close to agreement in all of these actually. I would only differ on would be Jok, as he is a A- by the criteria I laid out, as he will certainly be 2nd team All Big Ten.
I would also say Iowa is an overall A and ISU an overall B+. Maybe just picking nits on that, as I didn't really lay down criteria for team ranking. I would say a #1/2 seed is a A, a #3-7 seed a B, a #8 and lower seed a C, and not making the NCAA a D.

So you're an ISU fan who went to Oklahoma State and doesn't like Iowa?
I've been to Carver for more than one ISU/Iowa game and it is not a good basketball arena at all. Most Hawk fans will even acknowledge that.

How does Niang get an A when he only plays on 1 half of the court? You want to call Woodbury and average defender, Niang is average at best. He's been in foul trouble more times than not because he is lazy on defense a reaches way to much.
Woodbury stays in good position, doesn't foul a lot and rebounds well. He is having a nice senior year and doing what they need him to do. No he didn't live up to the 5* billing but he has a chance this year to do something special as a team.

He was a first team preseason all american and is averaging 19 pgg while shooting 52% from the floor. That's like me asking how did Uthoff get an A when he only plays in 1 half of the game. Stupid

So you want to claim "scoreboard". Then do so. But let's have discussions that you can intelligently contribute to. Talking about defense wouldn't be one of those discussions.

Since the Baylor game ISU's defense has greatly improved. ISU is the #13 team in the RPI, they are doing just fine

Well, again, this was a defensive conversation that you want to contribute to. But you'll knock Woodbury for not blocking shots, then state Uthoff plays no defense when he does block shots.
I beg of you - can we please talk about something other than defense? This is comparable to walking to in to an elementary and discussing calculus.

Uthoff doesn't play half the game. He's the only player in college bball averaging 2 3 pointers made and 2 blocked shots per game. Niang is good offensively which is what most of these awards are about, but he plays poor defense.
James Harden is an NBA all star and maybe the worst defensive player in the NBA. With him it's lack of effort.
