MATT ****ING THOMAS

Walters & Heft noted he has 6 consecutive games w 3 or more threes and is 19 / 35 for three over that span. Well done Matt!

He was solid again. It's so easy to root for Matt after knowing what he had to put up with these past two years.
It's amazing how great of a team player and what positive attitude he has after the past two years. He could have had a gripe about minutes, but instead decided to make himself better and earn that playing time.

On the other hand, players with really nothing to gripe about act like babies and let the team down with their negative attitude. Someone could learn a thing or two from Matt.

I'm still waiting for the game MT goes off for 30 plus points. One of these days he is going to have a game everything goes in. You just feel like it's coming. Might not be this year but it's gonna happen.

Next season he'll keep getting stronger and will be the bigger guard playing the same time as Naz and they'll bomb the F out of teams. The way he rebounds and defends like a swing player this year has me excited for he and Naz to start together. Hopefully Morris back there with them but Jackson will have some great shooters to pass off to.

So much respect for this young man and so happy he is a Cyclone.

Hopefully some of our most odd fans chill out a little on players like Thomas and Naz in the future if they don't light the world on fire their freshman or sophomore year. Carter got 4 minutes today, nobody knows where he'll end up as a Cyclone but it serves no good whatsoever to dog the kid.

I'd love too see Matt take 5-10 more shots per game. Another great game today.

3rd best player on the team, on a team with 2 really great players. Unbelievable how much he's improved.

Matt is doing what a 3rd year player with his talent should do. Maybe a bit more. He needs to take another step forward next year, and I think he will.

I agree wholeheartedly but we both know there's not a chance in hell that happens. Some people's ability to judge quickly and disregard the possibility for growth is all they really have.

I don't care who else is on the team, I want Thomas to continue starting next year.
